Looking after your Sparkery Smart Scales will help keep them accurate, reliable and performing at their best.
Cleaning and maintenance
To keep your scales in great condition:
- Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth.
- Dry the scales thoroughly before using them again.
- Keep the scales out of direct sunlight.
- Avoid placing them near radiators or other sources of heat.
- Store and use the scales in a cool, dry environment, away from excessive humidity.
Battery information
Your Sparkery Smart Scales are powered by replaceable batteries.
To replace the batteries:
- Turn the scales over and open the battery compartment on the underside.
- Insert the batteries, ensuring they are fitted in the correct orientation.
- Replace the battery cover securely before use.
When "Lo" appears on the display, it's time to replace the batteries.
To help extend the life of your scales:
- Remove the batteries if the scales won't be used for an extended period. This helps prevent battery leakage and corrosion.
- Only use good-quality batteries in good condition.
- Never use damaged, leaking or substandard batteries.
